In his LinkedIn post, Alexey writes:

“As SRv6 was initially designed for Service Providers, it’s been mainly adopted in big telco networks. Nebius was among the first cloud providers who came up with a unique use case - applying SRv6 in the cloud environment and extending it to the physical WAN network. This will help us build a bridge from the Cloud Gateway to the Internet Border, all the way across the data center and WAN domains. Plus, SRv6’s native traffic engineering capabilities allow us to build efficient service chains, including our in-house developed firewall and other network virtual functions. Along with some other cloud providers and hyperscalers, Nebius is on the edge of the network design evolution applying with SRv6.”
